What this service is

FreeBIMTools provides free utilities that help you inspect and convert BIM data. The tools are provided as they are, without warranty of any kind, and without any guarantee of availability.

What results mean

This is the important one. FreeBIMTools produces technical and model-quality observations. Those observations are not professional certification and they are not a statement of regulatory or standards compliance, unless a specific feature says it implements a specific standard and that implementation has been verified.

A model health score is a description of the data in a file. It is not an approval, a sign-off, or a substitute for the judgement of a qualified professional.

Your files

You keep every right you already had in the files you open. Because the browser tools process your model locally, we do not receive a copy of it and therefore claim no licence over it. See the privacy page for the detail.

Acceptable use

Do not use the service to break the law, and do not attempt to disrupt it for other people. Beyond that, use it for commercial work freely. There is no seat limit and no usage limit.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, FreeBIMTools is not liable for loss or damage arising from the use of the tools or from reliance on their output. Verify anything that matters before acting on it.

Changes

These terms may change as the project develops. Material changes will be described on this page rather than announced by email, since there are no accounts to email.
